Welcome to Trade Scrolls. These Terms of Use describe how you may use our website, application, and related services. By accessing or using Trade Scrolls, you agree to these terms.
Trade Scrolls rebuilds historical positions from filled trades and analyzes trade history to help users review account activity, balance history, and position performance. The service may integrate with third-party brokerage APIs, including Alpaca Markets, to load account data for analysis.
You agree to use Trade Scrolls only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with applicable laws and these terms. Do not use the service to upload or distribute harmful, fraudulent, or unauthorized content.
If you connect a brokerage account through an API such as Alpaca Markets, you authorize Trade Scrolls to access your account data for the purpose of generating historical analysis, rebuilding historical positions, and preparing account reports. This may include fills, trades, orders, balances, positions, and related account metadata.
To support account reconstruction and replay features, Trade Scrolls may gather and store fills, orders, and other account-related data obtained through the connected broker API. This stored data is used to rebuild account history, positions, and related analytics inside the service.
Broker connections are intended to operate in read-only mode. Trade Scrolls does not use the connected brokerage API to place trades, cancel trades, transfer funds, or otherwise make changes to your brokerage account through the connection flow described here.
Your use of Trade Scrolls is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and process data only as described there, and we will handle your account and trade information with care.
Trade Scrolls is provided for educational and analytical purposes only. Nothing on the website or in the app constitutes investment advice, trading advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any financial instrument.
Trade Scrolls may rely on third-party services, APIs, or data providers, including Alpaca Markets. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of any third-party service.
We use reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect user data. However, no system is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and any API access tokens.
Trade Scrolls offers a free plan and two paid plans. The free plan is limited to one year of trading history. History Pro includes up to 30 times the saved-history capacity of the free plan and access to all historical years available from the service and connected data sources. History Pro + API includes everything in History Pro plus access to the Trade Scrolls API.
Storage capacity does not guarantee a particular number of trades or positions because record sizes vary. Historical availability can also depend on connected brokers, source data, account age, and third-party service availability.
History Pro is offered at £5 per month and History Pro + API at £8 per month. These advertised prices include applicable UK VAT. Before payment, Stripe Checkout will show the selected plan, billing interval, taxes, and total amount due. Prices applicable to customers outside the UK may be calculated according to their location and applicable tax rules.
We may change subscription prices in the future. Any price change affecting an existing subscription will be communicated in advance as required by applicable law and will not take effect without any notice or consent required by law.
Paid plans are recurring subscriptions and renew each month until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorize our payment provider, Stripe, to charge the payment method you provide for each renewal and any amount clearly shown and accepted during a plan change.
Stripe processes payments and stores payment credentials under its own terms and privacy practices. Trade Scrolls does not store complete card details. A subscription is activated only after payment status is confirmed through Stripe.
If additional billing options become available, the customer billing portal will show when a change takes effect and any immediate charge, credit, or prorated amount before confirmation. The terms displayed at confirmation form part of your authorization for that change.
You may cancel at any time through the customer billing portal without contacting support. Unless the portal expressly states otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. You retain paid access until that date and will not be charged for a further renewal. Deleting the app, disconnecting a broker, or ceasing to use the service does not by itself cancel a subscription.
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe may retry payment and ask you to update your payment method. We normally allow a grace period of up to one month while payment recovery is attempted. Paid access may continue during that grace period. If payment is not recovered, paid features may be suspended and your account returned to the free plan. Your account and data remain subject to the free plan's limits.
Except where required by law or expressly agreed by us, payments already made are non-refundable and cancellation stops future renewal rather than refunding the current billing period. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory cancellation, refund, or consumer rights that apply to you. If you believe a payment was made in error or a statutory right applies, contact support promptly with your account details but do not send card information.
An account cannot be deleted while a paid subscription remains active. Cancel the subscription first and wait until paid access ends, or contact support for assistance. This protects you from deleting the local billing link while recurring charges remain enabled.
We may improve, replace, or discontinue features and may adjust reasonable usage limits. We will give appropriate notice where a material change adversely affects an active paid subscription.
Trade Scrolls is provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
We may update these terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will post the revised terms with a new effective date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
If you have questions about these Terms of Use, please contact us through the website or the support information provided on the Trade Scrolls site.
